As a white, Quebecoise settler, I split my time between my primary home on the unceeded lands of the Tla'amin peoples in the pacific northwest, rural Quebec, and southern states. I have two daughters, my pronouns are she/her, and am driven by my love for connection and communication. Outside of my work you can often find me in nature collecting fascinating rocks, smelling the forest after a good rain, or hiking the endless trails of the areas.

I have been in private practice since 1997. My background is as a Certified Hakomi psychotherapist, and a

Registered Clinical Counsellor. I graduated in social work, prior to pursing my master in systems counselling, which focuses on patterns of organization amongst people and looks at couples, families and groups dynamics. Through these years, I have worked with a considerable number of couples, many individuals, some families, and with a wide array of

issues including navigating LGBTQ+ identity, and systemic trauma.

The main influence in my approach is the use of mindfulness, a practice which when developed allows to see past the automatic, conditioned reactions that contribute to repeating the same patterns of thoughts and behaviors while often keeping us with feelings of great vulnerability. It interferes with our ability to see beyond the pain or confusion keeping us stuck. I assist people in gently allowing what is present to unfold, which is often the unmet pain (confusion, fear, grief, anger...); from this practice comes a relaxation, more insights, and a greater sense of agency. Clients leave with a sense of direction,  and practices that have been developed during the session which have proven helpful.

My clients often tell me I have a strong ability to see patterns that they have remained unaware of, that it brings them to see into themselves more deeply, allowing to gain more clarity of what they want, and how to approach it.

They talk about the trust and safety they feel with me, as well as the peaceful tone of the sessions.

You are welcome to ask if you have more specific questions.

I believe that hearing others' experiences is often the best resource!
